The 10th Business & Law Exhibition in Jordan

May 9th – 10th, 2008

kempinski Hotel / Amman - Jordan

Background
Based on the database which has been collected with regard to the recruitment of Business & Law students and based on the success of the pervious Business & Law Exhibitions held between 2000 - 2008, Bridge International for Academic Services, suggests that a 10th Exhibition in law is to be held in Amman in May 2008. The main reasons behind this suggestion are the following:

All the Jordanian universities, private or public, offer BA programmes in Law & Business Administrative Sciences. Therefore, there is high tendency for a number of graduates to pursue their postgraduate studies abroad.

Objectives
To expose Schools of Law in the Jordanian universities, lawyers, and the personnel in the courts of Law to the wide diversity of law courses offered by the participating UK universities.
To expose the Jordanian and the Arab academic & business sectors to the excellence of the Business Administration Sciences offered by the participating UK universities and this includes:

arrow

The wide diversity of courses offered at the participating UK universities in relation to the BA and MBA courses.

arrow

To explore the possibility of establishing split PhD programmes with joint supervision.

arrow

To seek the possibility of offering In-country delivery of courses in certain MA programmes.

arrow

To provide for the Law & Business Schools of the UK universities a venue for recruitment and to establish contacts with the Jordanian Academic circuit in order to facilitate discussions and negotiations for further cooperation.

Participating UK University
This Exhibition will be limited and is specifically tailored for the UK universities that have cooperation agreements with Bridge International for Academic Services.

Timing of the Exhibition
This event has been carefully timed in order to cater for the academic needs of students at all levels. As the new year at the UK universities begins in the following September 2008, students who wish to join the UK universities will have enough time to think carefully and settle their decisions at the right university.
